The Triangle Area Office Building Association (“TRAOBA”) was formed in the early 1980’s to unite those engaged in the leasing of office buildings within the Raleigh-Durham-Chapell Hill area for the purpose of exerting a beneficial influence upon matters affecting the office leasing industry.

Any person engaged in the leasing, development, management, marketing, ownership or financing of commercial office properties is eligible for TRAOBA membership. The organizational mandate is to promote professionalism, continuing education and opportunities for members to exchange views and information on topics of common interest.

Going forward, the mission of TRAOBA will be to continue to build upon the solid foundation of our past, while recognizing that the office leasing community in our area will continue to grow in both the number of professionals and in terms of the community’s expectations of our industry. The Triangle Area Office Building Association will be the vehicle to foster relationship-building and growth amongst that growing list of office professionals.
